Information Palette Dock handles
Palette Dock handles the color text you paste or type, the palette name you choose, the app’s appearance preference, and the palette files you create.
Your latest palette draft, palette name, and appearance preference may be saved locally on your device so they remain available when you reopen the app.
Clipboard access
Palette Dock reads text from the clipboard only when you tap Paste clipboard. It uses that text on your device to identify valid hexadecimal colors. Clipboard contents are not sent to the developer.
Data collection and tracking
Palette Dock does not require an account and does not collect analytics, advertising data, identifiers, location, contacts, browsing history, or usage history. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not sell or share personal data.
On-device processing
Color parsing, palette previews, and file creation happen on your device. Palette Dock does not use an online service to process your colors or generate your palette files.
Exports and sharing
Palette Dock can create ASE, ACO, GPL, CSS, JSON, Swift, and PNG files. When you export, Apple’s share controls let you choose where the file goes. After you share or save a file, it is handled by the destination app or service you select and is subject to that provider’s privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Saved drafts and preferences remain on your device until you replace them or delete the app. Export files remain wherever you choose to save or share them. Deleting Palette Dock removes its locally stored app data according to iOS behavior, but does not remove exports already saved elsewhere.
Children’s privacy
Palette Dock does not knowingly collect personal information from children or from any other user.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated if Palette Dock’s features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when that happens.
For privacy questions, contact the developer through the Support link on Palette Dock’s App Store listing.
